A very long story actually.

I always loved modeling, it’s just something that makes me happy but I never got a real chance to do it when I was younger because, my younger brother played pop warner football and at the time we only had one vehicle so I put my dreams on the side for a bit. I went to local agencies in Orlando, but they were all scams so I never got jobs, etc. So when I was 16, my brother quit playing football so I thought that maybe I could finally go to Miami (it’s closer than NY) and try some real modeling agencies. So last summer my parents took off work and we spent 2 days in Miami all based on my dreams and I didn’t want to let them down at all. The first day I went to Ford, and I was just wearing a tee shirt, jeans and shoes with no makeup and my messy curly hair. ALL the girls for the open call were beyond gorgeous. BUT one by one they were all turned down so I thought, “LOL if they can’t sign, neither can i.” But the agents took a good interest in me and told me to send polaroids and they’d get back to me if they liked me. I was like OMFG DIS IS SO COOL ~ I did, and they never got back with me. The next day I was going to go to another well known agency BUT I didn’t have pictures so they wouldn’t see me, so then I tried with NEXT. Again, a very beautiful girl was turned down that was before me and I thought the same thing. So I walked into the room and everyone was starring at me and smiling at me, it was so weird. The guy (Jerry, i love him lol) that works there took pictures and then offered me water and asked me to go sit in a room so they could all talk to me. After a lot of talking, and laughing they handed my mom the contract and I swear, it was the best feeling in the world. To know that I never gave up and I didn’t let anyone down just aklkfhsdkfj. Moral of the story: follow your dreams.
